FULL TIME TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE

Due to a planned business expansion we have a new position for a dynamic individual to assist with technical software sales (and perhaps a lot more).
Based at our offices in Elmhurst near Lichfield , we currently support clients in over 25 countries and are undertaking planned organic growth to expand our position within the industry both in the UK and abroad. With a substantial product range developed over the last 15 years, the business is on the cusp of expansion into two major overseas markets as well as responding to the upturn in UK business on the back of the construction industry recovery.

Up to now, sales has been managed by the Managing Director and although this will continue in some part, our workload dictates a secure expansion to correctly address the demands of the market. The position will be multi facetted and a dynamic and outgoing individual with drive, enthusiasm and a personable attitude is required to maintain and expand on UK sales.

Although a base will be made at our Midlands office, the role will require extensive UK travel.

Duties will cover all aspects of the sales cycle from inception to final close and it is a pre requisite that the candicate will have a strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying measurement, bill production and cost planning techniques.

Interviews will be held locally for suitable applicants and age at either ends of the spectrum is not an obstacle for this position. Dedication and commitment are given by all members of the existing team and is expected of all new team members who will naturally wish to succeed. We work hard and sometimes play hard and an ability to play Halo on the Xbox will stand the candidate in good stead when taking on the office champion (who is frankly suspiciously good ). Skillset required:


Previous experience in sales is not essential but a strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and architecture will be a major advantage. As our clients are all major construction industry professionals a qualification in Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating is a pre requisite.

Being able to play Halo will stop you getting a drumming at lunchtime!
